Challenge:

• To provide and implement an automated process that will:
  • Identify approved IT projects.
  • Track their progression status while identifying development work hours utilized.
• To provide SAP object duplication work and related transports.

Solution:

The B&A Consultant worked with management to provide a tool written in Access and VB that will:

• Track IT project progression towards completion, with a click of a button, by uploading information from the NASA Remedy system.
• Report on project progression, development hours utilized, and object duplication work.

Result:

• The written program, "Project Dashboard", was authorized by upper management as the approved NASA method for tracking IT projects, development hours, SAP worked objects and related transports.
